Dear students of Sec 3E,
I trust that you've been having a good term break so far. These are some important up-and-coming events that will involve your class. Jacelyn and Eugene, please take note. 1)
Show and Share - 2 April 2008 during Wednesday assembly
I haven't got the topic of presentation yet, and Sec 3 level head - Miss Chan Chui Leng - is pressing me for details. So, who's in charge of preparing this and what topic have you all decided on? Additionally, how are you presenting the topic? Note - these instructions are given by the School:
a) No 'rah-rah' items like mass dancing or singing for show & share.
b) They should be academic-based - some topics to consider are Current Affairs, NE, Youth Olympics, Protecting the Environment, Ageing Population, Beijing Olympics, discoveries in Science, Mathematical puzzles, Literary works, etc.
c) Format of presentation could be interactive eg quizzes, games..... or they could be in the form of debates, forums, to name a few.
Please submit the script to me by Wednesday (19 March). You guys have one week to work on it. =oP Miss Chan has suggested a rehearsal along with Sec 3C and 3D on 25/ 26 March.
